Initial SRC meeting with the minister of education
By the invitation of the Minister of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the SR Tomáš Drucker, an initial working meeting with representatives of the Slovak Rector's Conference was held on November 6, 2023. SRC President Vladimír Hiadlovský, along with former SRC Presidents Rudolf Kropil and Libor Vozár, attended the meeting. In addition to the Minister, State Secretary Róbert Zsembera and Director of the Department of Communication and Marketing and Spokeswoman Dagmar Al-Khaldi Mičeková attended the meeting.
SRC representatives and representatives of the Ministry discussed SRC's proposal for the Program Statement of the Government of the Slovak Republic and current issues in higher education, including the Recovery and Resilience Plan, funding of public higher education institutions and performance contracts.
SRC President Vladimír Hiadlovský assessed the initial working meeting with the Minister of Education and his team as constructive and invited the Minister and the State Secretary to the upcoming SRC meeting.
