Slovak Universities in QS World University Rankings 2023

QS World University Rankings® 2023 has ranked 6 Slovak universities in a ranking that includes the top 1,500 universities from around the world. According to verified data from the International Association of Universities and UNESCO, in 2019 there were more than 20,000 officially accredited or recognized higher education institutions in 196 countries and territories around the world. Thus, 1,500 universities included in the QS WUR 2023 ranking represent 7.5% of all higher education institutions.

Incllusion and ranking is based on a methodology that works with selected indicators. These include academic reputation, which makes up 40% of the final score, employer reputation, international students ratio, international faculty ratio, citation per faculty, faculty student ratio. International research networks and employment outcomes are included as unweighted indicators. A novelty is the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals defined by the UN (SDGs).

651 - 700 rank: Comenius University in Bratislava

701 - 750 rank: Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice

801 – 1000 rank: Slovak Universtity of Technology in Bratislava

801 – 1000 rank: Technical University in Košice

801 – 1000 rank: University in Žilina

1201 – 1400 rank: Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra
