Science and Technology Week in the SR 2011 (November 7-11, .2011).
President of the Slovak Rectors´Conference welcomes new members, who were appointed by the President of the Slovak Republic as rectors. Namely Prof. JUDr. Marek Šmid, PhD. was appointed in August 22, 2011 as rector of The Trnava University in Trnava and Prof. akad. mal. Milan Rašla in June 30, 2011 as rector of The Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. President of the SRC acknowledges to former SRC members Assoc. Prof. ThDr. Andrej Filipek, SJ, PhD. and Prof. Ondrej Šulaj for their cooperation in the matters of SRC and their professional involvement and contribution to Slovak higher education.
President of the SR Ivan Gašparovič re-appointed Prof. MUDr. Ladislav Mirossay, DrSc. as rector of The P. J. Šafárik University in Košice in August 22, 2011 and Dr.h.c. Prof. Ing. Anton Čižmár, CSc. as rector of The Technical University in Košice, Dr.h.c. prof. MUDr. Branislav Lichardus, DrSC. as rector of The College of Management in Trenčín and Prof. RNDr. René Matlovič, PhD. as rector of The University of Prešov in Prešov in June 30, 2011.
